I think You´re on the right way ( end even if You would not be: at least You´re avoiding a lot of trouble worrying and stressing Yourself )
and I´m also sure that You have to let go; Your Self knows what You want, universe is working it out – always getting back or staying with the wish is like You´re in a restaurant, calling back the waiter over and over again, with the only effect that he can´t pass on Your order to the kitchen..;-)
